Jurgen Klopp claims full responsibility for current ongoings at Liverpool
Speaking to Sky Sports, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp spoke about how he is certainly not happy with the way things are at the club presently. The 55-year-old also added that the way in which the Reds would deal with this state of affairs would eventually determine the outcome of things.
In recent months, there have been several conversations around how a lack of investment from Liverpool’s owners, FSG, into the club could be at the core of the reasons behind the poor form of the Reds. However, with Klopp’s words, he probably intends to shift all the blame towards himself.
However, that is what a great manager does. But in this scenario, Klopp must readily accept that not standing financially backed over such a long period of time has put Liverpool in a difficult position. Not being able to get top transfer targets is something that would hurt any team.
Even though Klopp should have done better with the players at his disposal, there is no denying that the problem’s roots somehow eventually end up with the investment issue. A number of injuries this season meant that Klopp had to rely on his secondary options for a number of games, who haven’t necessarily been his best players.
Is Klopp to blame for Liverpool’s problems?
It’s important for the owners to understand that the current situation is not a reflection of Klopp’s abilities as a manager. He has done an excellent job considering the challenges he has faced this season, and he deserves the support of the owners. By investing in the team, the owners can give Klopp the resources he needs to bring success back to Anfield.
The Premier League is one of the most competitive leagues in the world, and teams need to have the resources to compete at the highest level. Liverpool have struggled this season due to injuries to key players and mostly inconsistencies in the way we have played, but with the right investment, Klopp can certainly rebuild the team and bring in the players he needs to improve their performances.

However, it is true that he also bears some responsibility for the current struggles of Liverpool FC domestically this season. As the head coach, he is ultimately responsible for the team’s performance and tactics on the field, and when the team is not achieving the desired results, it is reasonable to expect that some of the blame falls on him.
