British agent Haydn Dodge confirms Liverpool are interested in Mason Mount
British agent Haydn Dodge has confirmed that Liverpool are interested in signing Chelsea star Mason Mount with his contract at Stamford Bridge in quite a precarious position.
Mason Mount is a talented attacking midfielder who has been a regular feature in the Chelsea team since his breakthrough season in 2019/20. However, with his current contract set to expire in just under 18 months and talks over a new deal have reportedly stalled.
For Liverpool, Mount would be a fantastic addition to an already impressive squad. Under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp, the club has developed a reputation for playing fast-paced, attacking football in the past years, and the 24-year-old’s skill set would be well-suited to the team’s style of play.

“I know Liverpool quite like him and I personally believe he’d be perfect for Jurgen Klopp and his system. You’d also assume Mount would be a cheaper alternative option to Jude Bellingham, so they may well be keeping very close tabs on his situation to see how it develops.”
At Liverpool, there is absolutely no doubt that Mount will be one of the first names on the team sheet. Such is the lack of quality in our midfield that someone like the Chelsea star would be a huge upgrade.
Klopp has shown time and again that he is capable of getting the best out of his players, and if anyone can convince Mount that Liverpool is the right move for him, it’s the charismatic German manager.
