Bayern Munich star Ryan Gravenberch enthusiastic over potential Liverpool switch
As per the latest report from Sky Sports, Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is enthusiastic about a move to Liverpool amidst interest from the Reds.
A few days ago, the Times reported that Liverpool have accelerated their process to sign the Dutch international, who has struggled for game time in his first season at Bayern. The projected price of £25m is quoted.
The Reds spoke to Gravenberch’s father, senior Ryan, who guides the player’s career. They discussed the possibilities of a move.
The report also revealed that Liverpool are looking at several midfielders and will make a defensive signing in the coming summer window.
Coming back to Gravenberch, the 20-year-old is a versatile midfielder who can play in any position across the central regions of the field. He is technically sound on the ball, has no problem winning aerial duels because of his height (1.9m), can strike them well towards the goal and is a good reader of the game.
At the price quoted and the ceiling he possesses at such a young age, it would be a no-brainer for the Reds to sign the Dutch international.
The club must make sure he becomes one of the many additions to the midfield department. Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister has been linked as well. The Argentine is quite similar to Gravenberch in terms of positional versatility but has different attributes on and off the ball.
