Liverpool target Alexis Mac Allister’s true price revealed as transfer from Brighton nears

Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the potential signing of Alexis Mac Allister as Liverpool inch closer to getting a deal through for the 24-year-old World Cup winner.

According to Romano via Twitter (h/t Liverpool ECHO), the Argentine will cost “way less than £65/70m” as Brighton’s fixed amount to sign Mac Allister is not that high.

This revelation sparks optimism among supporters, who eagerly anticipate the completion of the deal, which stands expected to take place next week. Alexis Mac Allister saw himself extensively linked with a move to Liverpool over the last two transfer windows, and it would give the Reds a certain peace of mind to see him don the famous Red jersey at Anfield.

The Reds need more signings
