Liverpool and Brighton are keeping a close eye on upcoming German talent at Stuttgart

Liverpool continue to cast their scouting net far and wide, and the latest name on their radar is 19-year-old Stuttgart sensation Raul Paula.

According to a tweet from Ed Aarons at The Guardian, Liverpool, along with Brighton, have been closely monitoring the young German talent. Paula, an attacking midfielder, has been setting the Bundesliga’s youth stage alight with his impressive performances.

In the 2023/24 season, the prodigious teenager has already made quite an impact. Paula has found the back of the net six times and provided an assist in just nine appearances for Stuttgart’s reserve team. Such a scoring record at such a young age is attracting attention from top clubs, including Liverpool.

Liverpool have a history of nurturing young talent and integrating them into the first team. With a reputation for giving youth a chance, the club’s interest in the player could surely be a sign of their confidence in his potential.

Paula to the Reds?
