Jurgen Klopp emphasises the need to take the next game as the most important one as Liverpool competes for every trophy. The Reds defeated Nottingham Forest 0-1 in a dramatic Premier League clash with a 99^th-minute goal from Darwin Nunez.

Numerous injuries to key senior team players are currently ravaging Liverpool, posing a significant threat to their ambitious quest to challenge for the quadruple. They have already secured the Carabao Cup by beating Chelsea after captain Virgil van Dijk scored in the extra time.

“As far as I know it is the only game we play tomorrow night so that’s the most important game we have. We don’t make any difference. We would not have won the League Cup, we would not be in the next round of the FA Cup, we would not still be in the Europa League if we would prioritise a competition. We never did – maybe it would be smart if we do it, but I am a bit dumb so I don’t know how to do that, and we go in each game with all we have and hopefully you will see that tomorrow night. That’s the target.”

The youngsters have played a key role in the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup fifth-round victory over Southampton. Furthermore, they have featured immensely in the Premier League games and helped the team win important fixtures.

Instead of using the transfer window, Klopp has relied on the academy players throughout this season. Jarell Quansah and Conor Bradley secured their spot at the senior level under the guidance of their 56-year-old manager.
