Liverpool eyeing dynamic German international with world-class potential

Liverpool have a keen interest in securing Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala despite the massive transfer value

The potential availability of Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala has many clubs on high alert with Liverpool incredibly interested.  Musiala is one of the biggest talents in Europe and he has everything to become a legendary player.

The 21-year-old is already an established player at both the club and the international level with Germany. Musiala has the versatility to play as the number 10 and a number eight in the midfield. He has also featured on the left wing for his team to compensate for the tactical requirement of the team.

While playing at his preferred number 10, Musiala uses his creativity, close control and incredible dribbling skills at optimum use. He takes on the opposition defence directly, wiggling past players in tight spaces and putting them in constant panic.

The 21-year-old has incredible passing accuracy due to his technique to find his teammates with through-balls and create critical chances. He has displayed immense tactical awareness and intelligence despite the young age to feature regularly alongside world-class players at Bayern.

Musiala has made 31 appearances in all competitions this season, contributing with 12 goals and seven assists for Bayern. He has constantly influenced most of Bayern’s positive attacking phases in the games.

Fichajes reported that Liverpool have a stern interest in Musiala despite his huge price valuation that the media has circulated. The 21-year-old has reportedly rejected any renewal proposals that Bayern have made while his asking price is £100mil.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has already announced his departure from the club at the end of the current season. Meanwhile, the Reds have started restructuring the backroom management to compensate for the loss of their beloved manager.

Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso is currently the firm favourite to take over the role as the new Liverpool boss. Alonso prefers to play two number 10 in his current set-up at Leverkusen which makes Musiala’s interest more credible.

The Reds would want to secure a successor before they opt to make any transfer moves during the summer. However, Musiala would be a marquee signing regardless of the manager who would take charge of the club next season.
