Liverpool will be facing the Russian side, Rubin Kazan, in their this week’s Europa League fixture on Thursday. Liverpool are yet to win a game in the group stages of the Europa League. It will be the first home game for Liverpool’s new manager, Jurgen Klopp. Klopp expressed his excitement to be at Anfield as the Liverpool manager during the press conference on Wednesday. This is what he had to say “I’m really looking forward to this game, it’s by night, by light and a special atmosphere. I hope we can translate it into the game.” Klopp also confirmed that Daniel Sturridge will not start against Rubin Kazan and he also said that Firmino, Benteke and Lovren has returned to training. We can expect the trio to feature in Liverpool’s Europa League clash against Rubin Kazan. Liverpool are looking to turn around their season with the arrival of Jurgen Klopp. Liverpool

have not won a game in the group stage of the Europa League and they were held in both their games against Bordeaux and Soon.

Like Liverpool, Rubin Kazan also had a very bad start to their season and their season so far has been awful. They are placed last in the group B of the Europa League. They are the only team to lose a game in the group B and it was against Soon that they lost. Their season is no better in the Russian League too. They are placed 12th out of the 16 teams present in the league. They have got only 10 points from 12 games so far (Won 3, Drawn 1, Lost 8). They will completely find it difficult to get something from their match against Liverpool, who at the moment are very confident due to the arrival of Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool will be hoping to kick-start their season under Jurgen Klopp while Rubin Kazan will be trying their maximum to get something out of the match. Klopp’s first game as Liverpool manager ended up as a draw and now he will be looking to get his first win as a Red.

Predicted Liverpool line-up: Simon Mignolet, Nathaniel Clyne, Martin Skrtel, Mamadaou Sakho, Alberto Moreno, Emre Can, Joe Allen, James Milner, Adam Lallana, Jordon Ibe and Divock Origi.
