In the recent times, Piotr Zielinski has been in the news for being linked with Liverpool. The midfielder is currently on loan at Empoli from Udinese and has now confirmed that he has had transfer talks with Jurgen Klopp.
In an interview to Sportowe Fakty, a Polish news outlet, the players admitted to have held a few talks with the Reds’ boss. He also mentioned that the talks will have to result into something concrete later as he is more focused on Empoli at present and has Euro 2016 to worry about post that. But what after that? If recent reports are true then the Polish midfielder is looking forward to partner with Philippe Coutinho in the Liverpool midfield.
Piotr Zielinski is one of the several players being linked with Liverpool after the reports that the Reds will have a substantial fund in the summer to strengthen their squad. However, a confirmation from the player seems like a big step forward.
