2. Joe Allen
The 26 year old Welsh striker moved to Liverpool from Swansea in 2012 under the reign of Brendan Rogers. A lot was expected from the youngster when he moved to the club considering his heroics at his previous clubs. Allen could not showcase his A game at Anfield and could not establish a permanent position in the Liverpool midfield alongside Gerrard and Henderson. However, since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp, a lot of improvement has been observed in Allen’s game. He continued playing as a substitute but was given a lot of game time by the new manager. His passing, ability to hold possession and also to drive the midfield saw a remarkable improvement and now he is under the radar of many clubs across different leagues.
