Wow! Liverpool Manager Reveals His Transfer Strategy

There is a report going around that the Reds’ boss Jurgen Klopp will be given a hundred million pound transfer kitty to make Liverpool a serious title contender again.

Liverpool fans probably cannot wait for the summer transfer window and see who Klopp purchases and if the player will turn out to be next Gotze, Lewandowski or Reus. Even though the manager is usually secretive and does not disclose his transfer plans to the media, in a recent interview he revealed that the club needs new players.

He said“If they [news signings] are better [than the current players], then good, but if they are the same level that would be really good too. Then we can push each other onto another level”.

What seemed strange is that he feels the same level of players may also be purchased. Many fans feel that the current squad is not good enough for top four finish and would have expected the German to replace many of fringe players. But we can all hold our horses as the manager was probably just trying not to upset his current squad.
