Liverpool has improved ever since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp. Their style of play and the win ratio is a start reminder of this fact. However the Reds are weary of the left-back position and are looking to reinforce in the summer.
According to French publication L’Equipe, the Reds are interested to sign Aston Villa defender Jordan Amavi. According to the report they have already contacted the player’s agent and a deal is on the negotiation table already. There has been serious interest for Ben Chilwell from Leicester City but the deal is still ongoing and the Reds are said to be keeping Amavi as a back up option.
Aston Villa got relegated last season and the 22 year old is one the few players who have actually shone throughout the 2015-16 campaign. He is valued at £10.8 million and Liverpool have no qualms about the price tag. However AC Milan and Lyon are also on the player’s tail.
