Breel Embolo is only 19 year old and has already been linked with several clubs for a move away from FC Basel in the summer. Apart from RB Leipzig and Vfl Wolfsburg, Liverpool too are said to be interested in the youngster.
According to Bild, Jurgen Klopp has his eyes set on the player as he feels the youngster will be a valuable addition in his grand scheme to make Liverpool a force in England and in Europe. The price tag put on the player by Basel is said to be £27.5 million and this has caused the German clubs to become a little hesitant. Liverpool, on the other hand, is not as concerned about the fee as TV money is set to boost Liverpool’s revenue this season.
