Wow! Liverpool Emerge Clear Favourites To Sign This Manchester United Attacker

Liverpool are reportedly the favorites to sign Memphis Depay from Manchester United this summer, according to the reports from the Ladbrokes.

Liverpool were looking to sign the player last summer itself, however his one year stint at United has surely made the Reds fans are in no way keen on the player’s move to the Anfield.

There has been no such deal between the two bitter rivals, except the move of Phil Chisnall in 1964 in a deal worth £25,000 from United to Liverpool. Further, Rafa Benitez did try to bring in Gabriel Heinze into the Anfield from the Old Trafford, however Sir Alex Fergusson did not sanction the deal.

Reports suggest that Leicester City, Stoke City and Depay’s former club PSV Eindhoven are also interested in signing the player into their respective squads, however if reports are to be believed then Liverpool are apparently the favorites in signing the 22 year old winger.
