Liverpool’s Adam Lallana is having a breakthrough season and has turned his career around not only for the Reds but for England as well. The former Southampton player took part in a recent World Cup qualifier against Lithuania but there were reports
that the Englishman could be out for five games (Telegraph reports that it could be for a month) with a thigh injury.That would come as a major blow to the Merseyside club as they are set to face Everton in the derby on Saturday and the Reds already face issues regarding injuries. Dejan Lovren is still making a comeback from a long spell out from the team and Jordan Henderson too hasn’t played for the side in a while.
Lallana had been one of the brightest players for the Reds this season and it will certainly come as a major blow for all Liverpool fans. Though Liverpool could have Emre Can, Georginio Wijnaldum and Henderson fit and ready to go for the derby, Twitter was in meltdown upon finding out Lallana’s injury set back.
