‘This hurt this hurt’ – Liverpool Fans Were Furious On Twitter After Former Star Tweeted About Chelsea

Former Liverpool star Fernando Torres has angered the Reds faithful by congratulating Chelsea on their title win for the season. Chelsea beat West Bromwich Albion by a 1-0 margin to seal the Premier League title and Fernando Torres, having played for the Blues previously, took the opportunity to congratulate his former employers.

However, this did not seem to go down well with the Liverpool supporters, who were enraged by the Spaniard’s message. Torres was a huge hit at Liverpool and made a controversial switch to Chelsea back in 2011 for a record-breaking £50 million.

Though Torres’ time at Chelsea was not all that successful personally, the striker seems to have fond memories about the Blues, with whom he won the Champions League trophy. It is quite natural for a player to congratulate his former team on winning the title but somehow, the Liverpool fans went furious about it and took the Twitter to vent out their frustration.

We managed to gather a few tweets and put them together.
