Liverpool Are Seriously Considering To Sign Dortmund Attacker As Coutinho Exit Looms

Rumours continue to mount about Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho, as Barcelona are reportedly keen on signing the player at any cost, having identified him as the replacement for Neymar. Even though Coutinho has a long-term contract with Liverpool, manager Jurgen Klopp knows that an unhappy player is next to worthless in the team. reports that Liverpool are seriously considering the possibility of making a move for Christian Pulisic.

The 18-year-old has been one of the highly rated talents in German football and is expected to be on his way to stardom. Even at this young age, he has been a regular for the United States national team and has made 16 appearances. We have been relatively active in this summer transfer window by bringing in the likes of Dominic Solanke and Mohamed Salah. Once again, both players are not target men and this is clearly the direction where Liverpool are heading under Klopp. The transfer policy does not seem to have changed, as we show an interest in Pulisic.

Borussia Dortmund are no longer the force in German football like they were a couple of years ago.
