Liverpool Fans Receive Major Fitness Update On England Star, Thanks To This Instagram Video

Liverpool fans have been provided a major injury boost after a recent video emerged where Adam Lallana was seen working out aggressively, as the English star looks to regain his fitness. The 29-year-old had suffered a thigh injury before the start of the Premier League season and is yet to play a game for us.

Lallana was one of the players that really linked the midfield and the attack well last season and his absence seems to be affecting our side. We haven’t really played that well this season, at least when trying to score goals and that is something that Lallana could look to fix.

The video was posted on Instagram and shows Lallana doing a few laps of the swimming pool before doing a lot of weight training in a Liverpool training kit.

There still is some time before we might see the Englishman playing for us but all signs point to him returning better than ever.

The 29-year-old was the England player of the year in 2016 and he would be looking to make a similar impact once he rejoins us. We might be dominating the opposition but finishing them off isn’t happening on the pitch and maybe the introduction of Lallana will be the boost that our attack needs.

Speaking about his rehab, Lallana was quoted by the Daily Mail where the England star couldn’t wait to get back into the team.

“I’m getting on well – slowly but surely in the background,’ Lallana said earlier this month.

“It’s great to see the lads start so well, we’ve been playing some brilliant football. It has been great to be at Anfield for a couple of those games as well, and the Champions League game.

“I don’t like staying away from it, I quite like being in the mix and involved in the games, especially the home games.

“I’m well into the way on my rehab now and it’s going as well as it can. I’m obviously looking forward to being back.”

It will be an interesting dilemma for Jurgen Klopp with regards to playing Lallana in our side. There is little chance of him being played up top with Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

The midfield could be where he could play, with either Emre Can or Georginio Wijnaldum getting the drop with Jordan Henderson being played as the other player in the heart of the midfield.
