Liverpool is huge not just in England but across the world; especially in Asia, and more precisely in India. You come to India and every nook and corner is littered with Liverpool fans.
Trying to make Liverpool a bigger hit with its Indian fans, the club sponsor Standard Chartered brought the concept of LFC World to Mumbai. A free-to-enter, immersive fan experience that is bound to increase the connection between the club and the fans across the globe.
The three-day event will take place at the High Street, Phoenix, Mumbai starting from tomorrow (December 8), to increase the interaction between fans and the club. The roadshow will provide a range of activities engaging the fans and providing exciting opportunities to meet four of Reds’ legends – Robbie Fowler, Sami Hyypia, Luis Garcia, and Vladimir Smicer.
And, what better way to connect with the Indian fans than cricket! The current Liverpool stars Mohamed Salah, Dominic Solanke and Sadio Mane are seen going for taking the big hitters challenge – more to get closer to the Indian diaspora.
Whether they were able to hit those big sixes or not, the Liverpool stars were able to connect with cricket-mad Indian fans in Mumbai and also on social media. Twitter went into overdrive with these lovely shots by the players! We picked some of the reactions for you.
