Liverpool to hand Real Madrid a knockout punch by offering £200,000-a-week for 36-goal monster

There has been a lot of talk about Mohamed Salah leaving Liverpool after his incredible performances for us since signing from AS Roma. The 25-year-old has scored 36 goals for us in all competitions and it comes as no surprise that we are already trying to ensure the Egyptian stays at the club next season.

The Mirror, however, reports that even if Real Madrid do come calling for the winger next season, the former Roma man will remain at Anfield. The report

also suggests that we will offer Salah a new deal which should see his pay rise to £200,000-a-week.

Salah has been in exceptional form for us and has allayed fears that we might have overpaid for him when he moved to us from Roma. The former Chelsea man did struggle in the Premier League when he was a Blue but now looks like a completely different player under Jurgen Klopp.

This news from Mirror should come as great relief to us fans as Salah would only get better next season. Hopefully, he can lead us to a number of trophies in the coming years.

One Of The Best We Have Seen In The Premier League

While some expected Salah to be a force in the Premier League, no one would have expected him to bang in the goals. The 25-year-old is leading the race for the Golden Boot in Europe and should he continue scoring goals in the Premier League, a number of individual awards would be on his way too.

We did end up losing one of our best players in Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona but it seems like Salah will be a Red for a few more years. The Egyptian seems to have learned from his Chelsea stint and could turn out to be one of the best Premier League players ever.

For us, he certainly is one of the best players we have seen in recent times and even if he has had just one good season under his belt so far, I’m sure there is a lot to come from the former Roma man.
