[Photos] Liverpool stars in good spirits ahead of crucial AS Roma clash and celebrate Salah’s achievement

Liverpool will face AS Roma in the second-leg of the Champions League semi-final clash this Wednesday and the excitement is palpable among scores of fans worldwide.

The Reds have a healthy lead of 5-2 ahead of this game but Roma are known for making shocking comebacks. They beat Barcelona to get to the semi-final stage and no matter what, we can never take the Italian club lightly.

Beating them would get us one step closer to winning the coveted Champions League trophy this season and it would be a major accomplishment not just for Liverpool but for English football in general. Our team certainly seems to understand the gravity of the upcoming match this week.

Our lads are training at the Stadio Olimpico and from the pictures, it seems evident that Liverpool are working hard to secure nothing but a win.

Sadio Mane missed the game against Stoke City in order to be fit for this one and I hope he will be a part of the starting XI. Besides him, Mohamed Salah and Robert Firmino will be key to our success at Roma.

The team seemed to be good in spirits and there were plenty of smiles around. Firmino has been a rock-solid player for us in recent times and the pace at which Dejan Lovren has been improving is absolutely commendable.
