Liverpool offered the chance to sign 23-year old winger as Juventus look to offload the winger for £22m

Juventus are trying to offload Marko Pjaca this season and have reportedly offered the Croatia international to Liverpool.

Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Mirror

) claims that the Old Lady is looking to get £22million for the 23-year-old attacker.

Pjaca spent last season on loan at Bundesliga club Schalke and scored a couple of goals from 7 appearances for the German side.

The 23-year-old played in the games against Nigeria and Iceland but is not expected to face England in the World Cup semi-final.

The report also claims that the young attacker has been offered to a number of other clubs.

A decent option or a risk for Jurgen Klopp?

Liverpool do need another attacker in their side as we need quality cover for the likes of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah but Pjaca might be a bit of a risk given that he hasn’t really done all that well at Schalke or at Juventus.

Additionally, bringing him here to the rigours of the Premier League might not work out too well and at £22million, he is a bit of an expensive signing, to be honest.

While Xherdan Shaqiri, who has played in the Premier League and has done well, could be bought for just £13million, risking it on Pjaca doesn’t really make a lot of sense.

We could try to get him on loan just to have options next season but barring that, this deal would not be the right one for the Reds.
