“He deserves this”, “Harry Kane in his pocket” – Some Liverpool fans go crazy as Reds star makes it to World Cup final

Liverpool have a player in the World Cup final but not the one that many would have bet on at the start of the tournament. Dejan Lovren’s Croatia overcame Jordan Henderson’s England, despite going a goal down early on in the game.

Croatia have been one of the more impressive sides in the tournament and they made a recovery first through Ivan Perisic and then Mario Mandzukic scored the winning goal in extra-time.

While it was heartbreak for the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Henderson, Lovren does deserve some good fortune as he has been incredible for us since that defeat to Tottenham at Wembley when he was substituted in under 30 minutes.

The former Southampton man has gone through a lot during his time at Liverpool but now he has a chance of being a World Cup winner as Croatia face France in the final.

As expected, Twitter

went crazy for “Lovren nation” and here are some of the best reactions to Croatia and Dejan making it to the final.
