Loris Karius made another mistake on the pitch as Besiktas lost 2-0 to Malmo in the Europa League. The on-loan Liverpool keeper couldn’t keep a deflected cross out of the goal before Markus Rosenberg made the points safe for the Swedish side.
This was the first loss of the group stage for the Turkish club, and Karius’ mistake came under the spotlight.
The German made a couple of blunders in our Champions League loss to Real Madrid last season. His position in the team was further in doubt after we signed Alisson from AS Roma in the summer.
The 25-year-old eventually left the Reds to join the Turkish giants on a two-year loan. However, there will be concerns about his quality after the latest gaffe.
A few Liverpool fans were upset with this mistake and shared their views on the German.
