Simon Mignolet has only seen 90 minutes of action for Liverpool’s first-team this season. That came in our 2-1 loss to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup, and the Belgian has had to be content with a spot on the bench.
Alisson has been excellent since signing from AS Roma, but the Belgian hasn’t complained much about not getting minutes at Anfield.
The former Sunderland defender has mostly posted positive updates on his Twitter account for both Liverpool and the national side.
The 30-year-old recently shared a clip of him taking part in training with the caption “Keeping busy #LFC”.
The keeper hasn’t been our best signing in between the sticks but he always gave it 100% whenever he was selected.
Mignolet might not get many starts this season due to the form of Alisson, however, many Liverpool fans appreciated his commitment to the team.
