The Liverpool Echo reports that Rebeca Tavares, Liverpool star Fabinho’s wife, has hit out at suggestions that the Brazilian could be off to Paris Saint-Germain.
Fabinho joined the Reds at the start of the season but hasn’t started many games for the side. The Brazilian didn’t start our 3-0 win over Watford and L’Equipe (h/t Liverpool Echo
) claim that PSG are going to speak with the Reds about signing the 25-year-old on loan in January.Tavares shared a funny reaction to the possible news and had a simple caption to go along with it.
Fabinho might not be playing every game for the Reds but the story is same for Naby Keita too. The RB Leipzig star joined for a huge sum in the summer but has just five starts to his name this season.
Jurgen Klopp was also quoted (h/t Liverpool Echo) saying that the 25-year-old Brazilian would not be leaving in the winter window.
“Of course he will not leave.
“I don’t talk about transfers but nobody leaves here, it would be completely crazy.
“He doesn’t want to, it’s only just the crazy world out there that if they don’t play the last five games they open a transfer market. We are not involved in that.”
The Brazilian possibly needs more time to settle in the Premier League, and we should reserve our judgement till the end of the season.
