18-year-old Liverpool target emerges on Juventus’ radar

Jean-Clair Todibo has attracted interest from the Serie A as Juventus and Napoli are set to battle it out for the defender, according to Tuttosport (h/t Calciomercato).

The 18-year-old has been linked with Liverpool (h/t Calciomercato) and also our bitter rivals Manchester United.

The report adds that the Toulouse youngster has given himself 10 days to sort out his future. The 18-year-old will be a free agent at the end of the season and will evaluate all his options alongside his agent.

The Frenchman wants to start a new journey and there is no willingness to extend his stay with the Ligue 1 club.

Todibo is one of the hottest properties in French football and it will be interesting to see which team can win the race for the talented defender.

Juventus have made it a habit to sign players on the cheap, and even signed Emre Can on a free from the Reds at the start of this season.

The 18-year-old would be an excellent signing for Liverpool as he could develop under one of the best managers in the world. The report adds that the Serie A giants want to press on with the transfer and do not want “surprises” for the Frenchman.

Liverpool have a quality young centre-back in Joe Gomez and another one could set our defence for years to come.
