(Video) Jamie Carragher has a cheeky response while handing MOTM award to Xherdan Shaqiri

Xherdan Shaqiri was the difference maker in our game against Manchester United. The Liverpool

attacker came off the bench with the scores tied at 1-1 and scored a couple of goals to hand us the win.

Truth be told, Liverpool dominated the proceedings and had 36 shots against the Red Devils. We could and should have scored more but it was great seeing a substitute work out this well.

Although Fabinho was the best player on the pitch, Sky Sports decided to hand over the Man of the Match award to the Alpine Messi.

Jamie Carragher presented the award to the former Stoke player and even had a cheeky message for him regarding Gary Neville.

The former Manchester United defender had been in a war of words with Shaqiri over his performances for Stoke, but the Liverpool star is doing his talking on the pitch.

The 27-year-old has five goals and a couple of assists in the league but has only started seven games for us.

His role as a super-sub seems to be working great, and he will only get better as the season progresses.
Liverpool’s win was the first for Jurgen Klopp over Manchester United in the Premier League, and the three points sent us back on top of the table ahead of Manchester City.

We play Wolverhampton Wanderers away on Friday night, and it will be interesting to see if the Shaq gets a start against the Wolves.
