Liverpool pulled off one of the deals of the winter window as Dominic Solanke joined Bournemouth for a fee of £19million (h/t Metro).
The former Chelsea striker found minutes hard to come by at Anfield this season, and we allowed Nathaniel Clyne to join the Cherries on loan too.
Despite losing a couple of players that were a part of our first-team squad, Jurgen Klopp claimed the sale of the Englishman didn’t alter his plans.
The German was asked if Solanke’s sale would change his plans and responded (h/t Metro):
“Probably not.”
Klopp further claimed that the deal was right for the English striker as he needed to play games but opportunities would not come easy due to the quality of the Liverpool squad.
The Reds are four points ahead of Manchester City in the Premier League and that has to be the priority for Klopp this season. Liverpool have never won the Premier League and we should do everything possible to stay at the top of the table.
A few quality additions to the side in January would make us stronger for the remainder of the campaign and it will be interesting to see what we have in store before the window ends.

We could do with more options in the attack, a winger or a striker and hopefully, we celebrate some silverware at the end of the season.
