The Mirror (h/t Liverpool Echo) reports that Robert Lewandowski could be a target for Jurgen Klopp.
The Polish striker played under the current Liverpool manager during their time at Borussia Dortmund, and the report claims that Chelsea have also spoken with Lewandowski’s advisors knowing that some big changes will happen at Bayern Munich.
The report adds that Klopp could look to reunite with the 30-year-old should he become available.
The 30-year-old has found the back of the net 32 times in all competitions for Munich this season if we are to leave out the goals from the German Super Cup.
The forward is one of the best finishers and would be a great focal point for any team in the world.
Liverpool play Roberto Firmino as the ‘False 9’ often and his role is different from what Lewandowski does for the Bayern team.
The Brazilian works his socks off for the Reds and has helped get the best out of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah over the past two seasons.
The Bayern striker might take the Premier League by storm if he moves here but several Liverpool fans weren’t convinced about Lewa doing well at Anfield.
