Juventus are willing to sell Argentine forward Paulo Dybala for €80m, according to Corriere dello Sport (h/t Calciomercato).
The 25-year-old has struggled for consistency this season and has found the back of the net just 10 times in all competitions for Juve.
The report adds that this move by the Italian champions would alert Liverpool, who are seen as potential suitors for the 25-year-old.
Barcelona and Inter Milan are also linked with the Argentine, and the report adds that €80m is less than what Juve would have asked for Dybala around a year ago.
The 25-year-old was excellent for Juventus last season having scored 22 times in the Serie A. This campaign hasn’t gone too well for Dybala and with Cristiano Ronaldo doing his bit in the attack, the Argentine has been overshadowed.
Dybala would make an excellent addition to Liverpool and give us more quality in the final third.
The Argentine can play in several positions in the attack, and still has years of quality football left in him.
It is to be seen if Liverpool are willing to throw a large sum on the 25-year-old as we spent heavily in the previous summer window.
Liverpool have several options for the attacking midfielder’s role. Adam Lallana would be an obvious choice, but the Englishman’s season has been hit hard by injuries.
The Reds were seeing the best of Naby Keita before his injury against Barcelona, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is back from a long-term injury too.
