“They should be fine” – Jurgen Klopp provides positive update on four Liverpool players ahead of crunch clashes

Latest Liverpool news: Jurgen Klopp provides positive update on four Liverpool players

Liverpool have two games remaining in the season and could end the campaign with two trophies.

The Reds face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Sunday and could lift the crown if things go their way.

Manchester City need to drop points away at Brighton while the Reds have to defeat Wolves.

Liverpool pulled off an incredible Champions League comeback against Barcelona in midweek but that came at a price.

Andy Robertson was subbed off at half-time while Jordan Henderson played on after injuring his knee.

Jurgen Klopp spoke ahead of the clash against Wolves and claimed that the pair should be fit for the clash.

The German also expected Roberto Firmino to be ready for the Champions League final but the Brazilian would not be ready for Sunday (h/t LiverpoolFC.com):

“Very important for all the young lads to learn, I’ve said that already to the boys. Hendo said, ‘It’s only pain’, Robbo said, ‘It’s only pain’ – but it was real pain, wow!

“Unfortunately, Robbo could deal with the pain but only the rest of his body couldn’t because he couldn’t really activate the muscle anymore, some nerve hit or whatever.

“They should be fine [for Sunday].

“Bobby not [available] for the weekend, but we have time [before the Champions League final] and that should be enough.”

Klopp provides an update on Salah

Mohamed Salah was out of the clash against Barcelona after suffering a concussion in the 3-2 win over Newcastle United.

The Egyptian was in the stands cheering on the Reds and celebrated wildly after the final whistle.

Klopp provided more good news for the Reds as he claimed Salah would train with the side later in the day:

“Mo looked good around the celebrations after the game, to be honest! The day before yesterday and yesterday he was running outside and will be part of training today.”

Liverpool need some luck to lift a first ever Premier League crown on Sunday.
