Paulo Dybala’s brother and agent confirmed that the Argentine sensation wants to leave Serie A giants Juventus.
The 25-year-old has only made 22 starts in the Serie A this season and bagged just five goals in the competition as Juve picked up another Scudetto.
The Liverpool Echo adds that the Reds have been linked with the Argentine in recent weeks, and Dybala’s game time has reduced since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Dybala’s brother was speaking on radio show Futbolmico and claimed all is not well at the Old Lady (h/t Liverpool Echo):
“Yes, there is a good chance he’ll leave Juventus. Absolutely. He needs a change. I can’t say where he’ll go, but there is a strong chance Paulo will leave. Of course he’s not happy there.
“Paulo’s not the only one, as many players are uncomfortable at Juve. He won’t be the one who will leave the Bianconeri this summer.”
The 25-year-old is an exceptional talent and it would be incredible if we could sign him in the summer window.
The Reds need another quality attacker in the team and Dybala can play across the front-line or as an attacking midfielder.
The Argentine would provide cover for our front three and increase the competition for starting places at Anfield, and there could be several clubs interested in the former Palermo star.
The Reds were big spenders in the previous summer window need to build upon a great season where they only missed out on the Premier League by a single point.
