Latest Liverpool news: Players train hard to keep winning run going against Burnley

Liverpool will want to continue their excellent start to the season by winning their fourth straight Premier League game on Saturday.

The Reds are the only ones to have won their opening three Premier League games this season and face Burnley at Turf Moor.

The Clarets are one of several teams who have four points from three games, and they won’t be pushovers.

Liverpool have had some tough battles against Sean Dyche’s side and we need to be at our best to get the three points.

The Reds were out training ahead of the clash and Virgil van Dijk was paired against James Milner in a drill.

The Dutch defender has been excellent this season and needs to be sharp in keeping Ashley Barnes from scoring.

Sadio Mane and Andy Robertson were also paired and the duo should start for us before the international break kicks in.

Salah starring for Liverpool

Mohamed Salah was excellent against Arsenal as he bagged a brace, and the Egyptian’s form has been excellent since the start of the season.

Fabinho also did a great job against the Gunners and his midfield presence could be one of the keys in keeping Burnley in check.

One major decision that Jurgen Klopp has to take is with regards to the right-back position. Trent Alexander-Arnold could be exploited due to his lack of physical prowess and we could see Joe Gomez start in this position.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has also looked good this season and it will be interesting to see if he starts against a more physical Burnley team.

Roberto Firmino’s movement was one of the keys to beating Arsenal, and the Brazilian should be a problem for Burnley’s defence.

Racking up four wins before the first international break would be great for the Reds and hopefully, we keep our first clean sheet of the season on Saturday.
