Liverpool could play nine matches in December as the Club World Cup kicks in, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The report claims that the Reds will play a semi-final clash on 18th December and will then play either a final or a third/fourth place game at the weekend.
Liverpool have to postpone their Premier League clash against West Ham on 21st December due to their Club World Cup duties, and they could even play a Carabao Cup quarter-final clash on the week starting 16th December.
The Reds have been drawn in the third round of the cup competition against MK Dons, and it will be interesting to see how we deal with the schedule.

We face Everton on 4th December, Bournemouth away on 7th December and then travel to Austria for the Champions League clash against Red Bull Salzburg.
Anfield will host Watford on 14th December before the possible Carabao Cup clash. The Reds then travel to Qatar for the Club World Cup and return to Premier League action against Leicester on 26th December.
We close out the month by facing Wolverhampton Wanderers on the 28th. Liverpool have a quality side and it will be stretched once the festive period starts.
