Liverpool winger Shaqiri is expected to be out of 7-10 days
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has provided an update on injured Swiss winger Xherdan Shaqiri. (h/t Liverpool Echo)
The 28-year-old Swiss international was forced to sit out the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers due to a slight hamstring issue.
With a busy schedule, Klopp has confirmed that Shaqiri was supposed to start the match against Wolves but had to sit out due to the injury.
“Shaqiri should have started but last night he felt a little bit the hamstring.”
Klopp went on to say that the winger will be sidelined from a week to ten days as he recovers.

It looks likely that Shaqiri will miss the league tie against Sheffield United and the FA Cup tie against Everton.
