Liverpool probing Jonny for alleged contact with ballboy
Liverpool have launched an investigation into an alleged incident between Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Jonny and a ball boy during the Reds’ 1-0 win at Anfield. (h/t Birmingham Mail)
The incident is said to have occurred as the defender tried to retrieve the ball in front of the Sir Kenny Dalglish stand.
The club released a statement confirming that an investigation was on and no comment will be made until it is completed.
“The club is aware of the incident and will follow established protocols in terms of gathering the relevant information. While that process takes place we will be making no further comment ”
