Director of youth football at Barcelona, Patrick Kluivert believes that the player has made up his mind to join City and will sign a professional contract with them when he turns 1 in January. (h/t Daily Star)

“Letting a player go away is a great shame. If players don’t want to be in Barcelona, that’s it. What can I do if they don’t want to stay?”

Larios will become the third Barcelona youth player to switch to City after Eric Garcia and Adria Bernabe in the past. (h/t Daily Star)

Arsenal and Manchester United were also interested in signing the young starlet.

It is believed that the Spanish influence at City helped make up the player’s mind that the Etihad would provide the best atmosphere for his development.
