The Englishman looked set to leave the Reds in the summer but a cruciate knee ligament injury sustained in pre-season scuppered any plans for a move.
Having spent the last 5 months recovering, Clyne is likely to be fit enough to complete a transfer this January. (h/t Daily Mail)
Having joined from Southampton in the summer of 2015, The full-back has made 103 appearances for the club. (h/t Whoscored)
Injuries have limited Clyne’s playtime the previous two seasons.
With his contract expiring this summer, Liverpool are likely to sanction a deal in January rather than lose him for free in the summer.
