Liverpool agree on a deal to bring Marcelo Pitaluga to Anfield

) suggests that Liverpool are close to securing their second signing of the new season. 17-year-old Brazilian shot-stopper Marcelo Pitaluga is the man in question, as has been clarified by the report.

It has been suggested that the highly-rated youngster is very close to making the switch to Merseyside. A deal worth in the region of £1.8m has been touted for his purchase.
