Real Madrid are preparing a formal offer for Liverpool target Kylian Mbappe 

According to Diario AS (h/t Mirror), Real Madrid have decided to rejuvenate their hunt for Liverpool target Kylian Mbappe and have decided the time is ripe to make an offer to Paris Saint Germain. 

The Frenchman just cannot stop scoring. The French forward has been putting up goal-laden seasons consistently in the PSG jersey and this season hasn’t been any different. The world cup winner has already bagged 13 goals and 14 assists in 23 matches.

Furthermore, the 22-year-old has been directly involved in at least one goal against every Champions League opponent this season. There is every reason to believe he is the next big thing in world football.

The youngster has been the talk of the town in recent seasons. However, his PSG future is in doubt as despite closing in on the end of his term, he hasn’t signed a deal yet. Last season, the French international was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid. 

It is believed that the Los Blancos failed to convince PSG even after registering two bids. Ever since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, Los Blancos have lacked a definitive figurehead in the attack. Mbappe can be that man and Carlo Ancelotti’s team is planning to relaunch their move to sign the starlet. 

However, PSG is Real Madrid’s Champions League group-16 opponent. In such a case, the Madrid-based team would be to respect their opponent and would until the second leg to formally approach the Parisian. 

Liverpool currently holds one of the most lethal strikers in the whole world. Mohamed Salah has been in sensational form this season, making scoring look easier with every game. At the same time, the Reds also have Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, who are also proven at the top level.
