Sir Kenny Dalglish reacts to Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah contract extension

Liverpool great Sir Kenny Dalglish has taken to Twitter and reacted to the news of Mohamed Salah signing a contract extension at Liverpool.

The Scotland and Reds legend called the Egyptian signing a new contract “fantastic news”. Dalglish went on to say that the 30-year-old putting pen to paper was “the best signing of the whole summer”.

The 71-year-old thanked Salah for his decision to continue for more years at the club and claimed it was ecstatic for Reds fans.

Dalglish played for Liverpool 497 times and was involved in 235 goals for the Reds. The Scottish attacker has also managed The Merseyside club on two separate occasions. The 71-year-old has won several trophies in his time at Anfield, both as a player and manager.

A stamp of approval

Seeing the Liverpool great stamp his mark of approval over Salah’s contract extension wouldn’t be surprising for fans. The club has been one of the best teams in the world in recent years and has seen much-awaited success. And Salah is a big part of the club’s success.
