Jurgen Klopp reveals he will “not leave” Liverpool dugout; hints at other changes
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he has no intention of parting ways with the club anytime soon. Unless the German is told to leave, he will stay on as the Reds’ manager.
In the current campaign, the Merseyside outfit have struggled to make an impact. As a result, the former Borussia Dortmund head coach is under pressure.
Speaking to the media via transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, Klopp confirmed that he had no plans of leaving Liverpool. However, the German did hint at other changes being needed at the club.
“If nobody tells me to go, I will not leave — so that means maybe there is a point where we have to change other stuff.”
The Reds are backing the gaffer during this rough period. His dismissal has never been considered by the Anfield side. The club are planning for the present and future with the 55-year-old in mind.
Klopp was appointed as Liverpool’s manager in 2015 after Brendan Rodgers’ sacking. It took the German a few months to settle in at the Merseyside outfit. However, he has gone on to become a household name.
At Dortmund, the 55-year-old built up his reputation. BVB won two consecutive Bundesliga titles under the German between 2010 and 2012. He also took them to the Champions League final in 2013, losing to Bayern Munich.
Klopp had similar heartbreak with Liverpool in the 2017/18 campaign as we lost to Real Madrid in the UCL final. However, the German finally got over that hump as the Reds lifted the prestigious European trophy the next year.
Then, the German gave the fans the ultimate prize. Our 30-year-long wait for a Premier League title came to an end in the 2019/20 season. We have been one of the best teams in the world for quite some time under the 55-year-old.

However, things have not gone to plan in the current campaign. However, it seems wise to back Klopp. Unless the German himself loses motivation to be in the Reds’ dugout, the best decision seemingly would be to stick with him.
