“On the bounce”- Former Premier League ace makes Jurgen Klopp prediction as Reds hit top gear

Charlie Adam backs Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool to continue unbeaten run in the league

Ever since that disheartening 3-0 loss to Wolves in the league back in the first week of February, Liverpool have been unbeaten in the league in four fixtures, but that includes a goalless draw against Crystal Palace, and Jurgen Klopp seems to have now found the consistency, in the league at least.

The Reds got the better of Julen Lopetegui’s side this time around as it was a good performance from the squad and we got our well-deserved 2-0 win. Goals from Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah won us the game.

Former Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam gave his verdict on the win and spoke about how the Reds can continue their unbeaten streak and was full of praise for Jurgen Klopp as well, as he should be. The German has come under the scanner in recent weeks for inconsistencies and this win just serves the critics well.

Speaking to ICE36 (h/t Liverpool Echo), here is what Adam said on Klopp being the right man for the job and helping Liverpool continue their pursuit of a top-four finish after a poor start to the season:

“Jurgen is still the right man for the job. There’s no one in the world that Liverpool would want to swap him with, he’s a world class manager and we’re lucky to have him in the Premier League. He’s still the man to win trophies for Liverpool.”

“There’s no doubt that Liverpool can go on and win six or seven games on the bounce, I just hope they don’t run out of time and they are ready if and when teams like Newcastle slip up.”

Klopp is certainly the right man

In addition to maintaining their current form, Liverpool will need to be consistent in their performances over the rest of the season. The Premier League is a long and gruelling competition, and every point counts. Liverpool will certainly need to remain focused and disciplined in every game if they are to secure a top-four finish.

Moreover, another important factor for Liverpool will be their ability to win games against their direct rivals who could challenge for the top four. Matches against teams like Manchester City, Arsenal, and Manchester United will be crucial, and Liverpool will need to perform at their best to secure victories in these games.

Liverpool will need to continue to show resilience and fight until the end of the season. The team has faced a lot of adversity this season, but they have shown that they are capable of bouncing back and fighting for every point.

If they can maintain this mentality over the rest of the season, Liverpool could find themselves back in the top four come the end of the season. While Liverpool’s start to the season was far from ideal, the team has shown signs of improvement in recent weeks.

More Liverpool News:

With key players like Diogo Jota returning from injury and Luis Diaz not far from a return plus the team finding form, Liverpool can be confident of a top-four finish this season. Maintaining their current form, and consistency, winning games outright, utilizing Anfield’s atmosphere, and displaying resilience will be key to achieving the goal of a top-four finish this season.
