The 20-year-old scored a sensational goal after Luis Diaz provided him with an opening on the right flank. The 39th-minute clinical finish from the Northern Irishman put Liverpool in complete control as he celebrated with the Anfield crowd.

Liverpool fans serenaded their young right-back with a song on his name as he continued to bombard forward. Bradley provided another fantastic assist in the second half for Dominik Szoboszlai to slot a six-yard header. Bradley’s night finished in the 68th minute to a massive standing ovation when vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold replaced him.

Speaking to TNT Sports (h/t liverpoolfc.com), Bradley shared his pride over the first goal for the senior team at Anfield. He said:

“It’s a very proud moment obviously. It’s something I’ve dreamed of for a long time. I just feel like I’m in a dream. It’s unbelievable. I’m very happy! I just couldn’t believe it went in. I just thought, ‘I’m going to hit it here’ and it went in the bottom corner. I didn’t know what to do, I just went into the corner and did a knee slide. It was brilliant!”

Bradley has made nine appearances so far in all competitions, contributing with one goal and five assists this season. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has used the squad efficiently despite the club’s ambition and the competition they face.

The 56-year-old has provided opportunities to youth players when the squad faced shortage due to an injury crisis. As things stand, Bradley has made a strong claim with his performances for more continuous first-team football.
