Last week reports from Germany suggested that Mario Gotze, a long time link and former player under Jurgen Klopp has affirmed his position at Bayern Munich. While it was a big blow for Liverpool, Klopp is in the shopping spree and has not stopped the momentum of bringing in new players.
Now with Gotze out of the scene the Reds are preparing a bid for Sadio Mane from Southampton in the summer. Mane has been in impressive form after joining Southampton two years ago and has also been linked with a move to Manchester Untied. Liverpool are likely to pay higher for Mane however, they are willing to splurge to not only get one of the best wingers in the Premier League but also spoil Manchester United’s party.
Last season as well Liverpool purchased Nathaniel Clyne from Southampton and both the clubs seem to be in a cordial relationship so far.
