Lewandowski had an exceptional season this summer at the Bundesliga outfit having secured 30 goals for Bayern Munich, however, he is reportedly considering a move out of Bayern this summer and would have favored a move to the Anfield, had the Reds secured the Champions League football. Having supported the Reds during his childhood, Lewandowski was seriously considering a move to the Reds, although lack of Champions League football may work against the same.

The 27 year old striker moved to Munich from Borussia Dortmund in 2014 and has made 32 appearances for the club last season, that is more than any of his teammates, in addition to nine Champions League goals last season.
