Why Klopp’s Reunion With This Crotian Winger Would Be Good For Liverpool

It is safe to say that almost every Liverpool fan is waiting to see their team’s performance under Klopp’s first full season in charge. A lot of changes in the current side are expected and to pursue their ultimate target, the manager as well as the players will have to work harder than ever.

A tough task lies ahead of the German manager, but to be perfectly honest, the Merseyside club have the perfect man at their side. Jürgen Klopp is one of the hardest working individual and is loved by the fans a lot. As stated earlier, a lot of changes are expected in the side and Klopp has already started working on it. He will welcome Marko Grujic, besides that, he has already signed the German shot stopper Loris Karius and the Cameroonian beast, Joel Matip.

Kolo Toure has been shown the exit door alongside a couple of names and it is reported that the manager is ready to end martin Skrtel’s 9 years of service. Many top clubs including Fenerbahce and Inter Milan are reportedly chasing the Slovakian international.

Klopp is currently targeting many names and one of those is the Croatian international Ivan Perisic. The 27-year-old previously worked with Jurgen Klopp at the Signal Iduna Park before moving to fellow German side Wolfsburg. The Croatian helped his side to finish 2nd in the Bundesliga table and was then transferred to the Italian side Inter Milan. The Croatian finished his season with the side scoring 9 goals and 6 assists.

Perisic is a very versatile player and is capable of operating the game as an attacking midfielder, as a winger or as a second striker. The 27-year-old will face a tough competition from Liverpool’s current team members for a proper game time, but as he is aware of how Klopp’s tactics work, he could become a major weapon for the side.

Perisic has never been in the spotlight, but his dribbling ability is what makes him a pure threat. Besides that, he a clinical finisher of the ball who loves to try his luck from distance. He possesses an incredible speed and that allows him to find spaces in the danger area when he is not on the ball. Perisic’s passing ability is quite concerning, but acquiring a technically talented player will surely work for the Reds.

He can operate the game with both feet and besides that, he is a deadly crosser of the ball and if a perfect centre forward is found, this trait of Perisic will become a blessing for the Merseyside club. The major concern will be his position in the side as they will not be playing in Europe, which will reduce his game time.
