Liverpool Transfer Roundup: £30m Price Tag Set On Striker, Reds Ready To Battle Everton To Sign This Star Midfielder And More

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is preparing well for his first full season at the Anfield as the Reds have already completed four signings before the season began. Sadio Mane, Loris Karius, Marko Gurijic and Joel Matip are all now officially Liverpool players and as such there are still more to come.

The Reds are set to battle it out against Everton for Zenit St. Petersburg midfielder Axel Witsel’s signature. The player has been linked with a move to the Goodison Park for a while, however it now seems like Liverpool may end up stealing the deal for the player. The Reds were in the running for defensive midfielder Krychowiak who impressed during Euro 2016 with a string of assured displays. But he has decided to follow his coach Unai Emery from Seville to further his career with the wealthy French club PSG and that leaves Jurgen Klopp with a gap to fill and Witsel is the next on his list.

Liverpool striker Christian Benteke is set to leave the Anfield and thus has been rated at £30m by the Reds. So far Crystal Palace have already seen their offer of £25m rejected by the Merseysiders

. The player ran out of favor under manager Jurgen Klopp and thus will be leaving the Anfield this summer. The south London club are now weighing up the total cost of the move with concerns that Benteke’s sizeable salary demands plus the transfer fee would restrict spending on other areas.

Liverpool target Mahmoud Dahoud has rejected a new contract at Borussia Monchengladbach amidst the speculation of a potential move to the Anfield. The midfielder has represented Germany at under-21 level and is seen as an exciting prospect for the future. An energetic midfielder, Dahoud would fit in perfectly with Jurgen Klopp’s preferred style of play at Anfield. Liverpool are willing to offer up to £25 million for the dynamic, Syrian-born talent, who would likely serve as an alternative to Zielinski. Gladbach director Max Eberl has already underlined his steadfast approach to holding onto Dahoud this summer, saying “he should take the next step with us,” however the 42-year-old also admitted “the transfer window is only beginning.”
