Liverpool striker Christian Benteke is set to head out of the Reds this summer having failed to impress anyone at the Anfield since his move from Aston Villa last summer.
The player has been told that he is not in the reds manager Jurgen Klopp’s plans this season and can head out of the Anfield. The German boss has Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi, Danny Ings and the new comer Sadio Mane at his disposal, thus Benteke too seems to have joined Mario Balotelli in their hunt for new clubs this summer.
The Belgian player, however, has more options unlike the Italian striker. Crystal Palace have been looking to sign the player earlier in a deal worth £30m, however the deal did not come through. West Ham United too had shown interest in the player, although they announced signing Andre Ayew from Swansea. As of now, the Turkish side Besiktas are keen on signing
the player and are as such are the frontrunners for the deal. However, there is the price tag of £32.5m that Liverpool put on the player that may be an obstacle in the deal to come through.
